Long Tall Sally launches new campaign with star netball team
Specialist size brand Long Tall Sally has linked up with “the renowned” Loughborough Lightning Netball Team in a campaign collaboration that “aims to celebrate and empower women in sport while promoting inclusivity, diversity, and body positivity”.
The label — which creates clothing for tall women — launches its new campaign on 30 May, highlighting the shared values between the brand and the team “as they join forces to champion women’s empowerment and challenge traditional beauty standards”. It hopes that “by showcasing the incredible achievements and athleticism of the netball players, the campaign will inspire tall women to embrace their height and excel in their chosen fields”.
The campaign takes in both still images and video, showcasing the team in the latest ranges from the brand, as well as airing interview content. This will all be shared across the label’s website, various digital platforms, and social media channels, “inviting tall women everywhere to join the movement and embrace their height”.
CEO Andrew Killingsworth (whose AK Retail also owns the Yours Clothing and PixieGirl labels, among others), said: “Our brand has always been committed to empowering tall women and helping them feel confident in their body. Through this collaboration, we aim to inspire women to embrace their height, break boundaries, and pursue their passions without limitations.”
