On Saturday 28th May, Paris' Parc Floral will host Get Beauty Paris, a show dedicated to fashion and beauty YouTubers. The show is organised by Finder Studios, a company specialised in the creation and development of digital content targeted to the general public, in partnership with France's TF1 Publicité. The event is proof of the considerable influence wielded by these web figures, now highly coveted by brands.

Get Beauty Paris operates like its US counterpart Beauty Icon, bringing together some sixty web celebrities such as Sananas and Horia, who have over one million subscribers to their respective YouTube channels.

YouTubers will be able to reach out and meet their fans, while brands will have the opportunity to interact with their existing and potential customers. YouTubers like these have indeed become true influencers, posting their make-up and skincare routines, offering hairdressing tutorials or flaunting their latest 'hauls'.

According to a survey by NPA Conseil, reported by FashionMag.com in January, 86% of subscribers to these channels buy at least one product recommended by a YouTuber. Other sponsors of the Paris event include Rimmel London, beauty website Feelunique.com, NYX, Cacharel and Nocibé.

About 10,000 visitors are expected to throng the Get Beauty Paris' aisles, after spending €10 to get in. They will meet their favourite YouTubers and also enjoy the shows' beauty bars, activities and conferences.

An area will be set aside for parents who are there to accompany their adolescent children. Indeed, the average age of these channels' audiences is just over 18.
