According to Fashionmagazine, the stores in Milan, Rome and New York are about to close. The Italian magazine reported that the company's revenue plunged from €24 million to €6 million! Also, the brand will not take part in the Milan fashion weeks next June and September.

The new owner is yet to clarify its intentions regarding Costume National's relaunch, though the recruitment of an Asian Creative Director has been mentioned.
