Li was most recently the senior vice president of e-commerce supply chain at Walmart. He will be tasked with developing the infrastructure at The RealReal to support its existing e-commerce centers as well as with growing the number of e-commerce centers the company operates.

Eschweiler joins through the newly created position of chief revenue officer. The position was created in response to The RealReal's overall sales growth.

Previously, Eschweiler held senior sales leadership roles at Affirm and Amazon, having scaled annual run rates in excess of $2B. His areas of expertise include sales management and e-commerce in North America, Europe and Asia. Eschweiler's CRO role will oversee all sales in The RealReal, including the company's white glove service.

"As the company has grown so has the demand for a level of management who have had instrumental roles in growing and shaping multi-billion dollar businesses," said The RealReal CEO and Founder Julie Wainwright, commenting on the appointments in a release.

The appointments of the new C-level executives are effective immediately.
