Puma confirms 7-figure brand ambassador deal with Kylie Jenner

Last week, the American press reported that footwear brand Puma signed a partnership deal with Kylie Jenner. Today, it is being reported that the brand confirmed the 7-figure deal at Agenda trade show in Las Vegas.

Us Weekly originally reported the news that the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan signed a 7-figure deal with Puma to be its brand ambassador. Jenner will be the face of Puma as a brand advocate supporting the brand through campaigns and personal social media outlets. The deal is unlike the brand’s partnership with Rihanna, which includes an exclusive sneaker collaboration.

The 18-year old often wears Puma in her popular Instagram photos so the deal appears to be an added incentive to wearing the brand. Kanye West took to social media to denounce the deal saying that the entire Kardashian family is “team Adidas”, but that did not stop the partnership from becoming official.

Jenner, like West and rapper Drake, is considered to be a celebrity with a magic touch that can sell out products instantly. This month, she launched her Kylie Lip Kit that sold out immediately when it became available on February 5 at noon. She created the line entirely with Ultrabrand, which worked on the website design, e-commerce infrastructure, logo and product design.
