Ace Turtle to launch BCBGeneration Handbags in India, South East Asia

Accessory Head Quarters (AHQ), which holds the global licence for BCBGeneration, has announced that it will be partnering with Ace Turtle to launch the brand online in India and South East Asia.

AHQ will use Ace Turtle’s cross-border platform in Asia to launch BCBGeneration Handbags in the area. The business aims to reach 200 million online shoppers in India and South East Asia through the partnership, which will launch BCBGeneration Handbags online across the region’s various e-commerce platforms.

BCBGeneration Handbags was launched by AHQ last year as a lifestyle brand focused on young, female consumers and sells a range of handbags. AHQ is confident that the growth of the online handbag market in India means that the time is right to launch BCBGeneration in the region.

“Consumers in India and South East Asia have changed drastically over the past few years with the growth of online shopping and high disposable income of urban class,” said AHQ’s Vice-President of International Sales, Aby Sakkal, in a press release.

“Categories such as handbags has witnessed tremendous uptake as customers are seeking more and more stylish collections in this segment. As we look to consolidate our online presence in India and SE Asia, we are confident that Ace Turtle’s cross border platform will play a significant role in helping us reach out to millions of internet shoppers in this region”.

No official release dates have been announced as yet, but the brand is set to launch in the near future.
